1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and phone number. Vendors may also provide their business name, cuisine type, business hours, and a description of their services.
We collect photos you choose to upload, including profile photos and food photos for vendors.
We collect location data. Vendors manually set their location to appear on the map. Customers use their device location to find nearby vendors through the in-app map.
We collect reviews and ratings that customers submit for vendors.
If you enable push notifications, we store a device push token to deliver notifications to your device.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the app, including showing vendor locations on the map, connecting customers with nearby vendors, displaying profiles and photos, and sending push notifications when enabled.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Third Parties
We use the following third-party services to operate CravingSpot:
- Supabase — stores your account data, photos, reviews, and all app content securely.
- Expo — delivers push notifications to your device.
- Apple / Google — distribute the app through their respective app stores.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored on Supabase servers, which may be located in the United States. Photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
5. Location Data
Location is only accessed while the app is open (foreground only). We do not track your location in the background. Vendor locations are set manually and are visible to all users of the app.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- View and edit your profile information at any time
- Delete your photos
- Delete your reviews
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Disable push notifications at any time through the Settings screen
7. Children's Privacy
CravingSpot is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us and we will remove it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
